Our Mission
Training to protect and defend is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of yourself and your loved ones. In the event of an attack at home or in public, being prepared and trained in the use of weapons will make the difference between a life-threatening event and saving your life and others.
In order to prepare you to protect and defend we will teach you the necessary skills to assess threats, make split-second decisions, and take defensive action, potentially preventing harm and protecting your home and family members. Defense training will include the proper handling of weapons, understanding local laws and regulations, storage practices, and knowledge of proficient use of firearms to reduce the risk of danger and promote the responsible ownership of your weapons.
We offer a state-of-the-art in-home Laser Ammo training system that brings the training environment to you. Castillo Arms also has access to training at live fire gun ranges and Close Quarters Combat training facility that is used regularly by the U.S. military and Law Enforcement through our long-standing relationship with these facilities.

About the Founder
Mike "Chino" Castillo is the owner of Castillo Arms. Mike proudly served 21 years in the United States Coast Guard's Deployable Specialized Forces. He is a combat veteran with multiple deployments around the globe in support of Counter Drug, Anti-Piracy, and Counter Terrorism. He has served with the U.S. Coast Guard's most elite units, Maritime Security Response Team-West as well as Pacific Tactical Law Enforcement Team.
After retiring from the military he became a private contractor where he trained United States Navy sailors and law enforcement agencies in weapons, self-defense/combative techniques, and close-quarters combat (CQB).
Through the creation of Castillo Arms, he is able to utilize these years of training, experience, and to transfer that knowledge into a training program designed for the everyday American in the comfort of your own home or a dynamic state-of-the-art training facility.
